A Summer Weekend in Chicago, with a Russian-speaking guide. (a brief summary in English)

30,000 rubles ($985) per guest!                    (Airfare not included, but Свой путь will help you find and purchase a convenient, attractively-priced ticket.)

Stay in the Loop or nearby, on Michigan Avenue (across from Grant Park) if you reserve early. All meals are on one's own except breakfasts, in the hotel. All daytime activities will be accompanied by a Russian-speaking guide. Transportation will be provided for all events and departure points, except for late evening returns to the hotel, and taxi info will be provided for such returns.

Day 1 (after flight arriving in the early afternoon): A relaxed check-in at your hotel, and supper on one's own in the hotel restaurant, a leisurely evening walkabout (guided) in Millenium Park/Grant Park, with a stroll on Navy Pier, and a light show at Buckingham Fountain in Grant Park.

Day 2, morning (after breakfast, provided in hotel): Walkabout (on Segways if desired, for an additional fee) from the Chicago Cultural Center through the Loop area -- architectural and sculptural highlights, ending at Union Station.

Lunch: Deep-dish pizza, a local specialty, is recommended.

Afternoon: A baseball game, with a round trip on the El to one of two stadiums! (Depending on your dates, and team schedules, the game may be on day 3, in which case the programs for day 2 and day 3 will simply be switched. If only evening games are available for your dates, you may attend during one of your free evenings, and another activity will be scheduled for this time slot. You may choose from many possibilities.)

Supper at an inexpensive restaurant near the stadium (if you are at a White Sox game, Chinese cuisine in nearby Chinatown is recommended; at a Cubs game, Italian beef sandwiches would be a good choice).

Evening free, with a ticket service provided for suggested shows, clubs, concerts, comedy clubs, plays, opera, and much more. Recommendations provided.
(Ticket cost is an additional guest expense, as prices will vary, but we will provide schedules, and arrange purchase according to your choice. Should be done early.)

Day 3, morning (after breakfast, provided in hotel): A cruise on the Chicago River and Lake Michigan.

Late morning: A walkabout (with Segways if desired, for an additional fee) on the Magnificent Mile, with time for shopping at leisure. Stroll from the Wrigley Building to the Water Tower, then back on the other side, ending at Navy Pier. Guests may lunch anywhere along the way, or at Navy Pier.

Afternoon: One of 5 museums, 4 in the city center (Art, Natural History, Planetarium, Aquarium), or ride several miles south for the 5th (Science and Technology).
